Since November 1, 2022, Prof. Dr. Gasbarrini has been Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Rome. He is the Director of the Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology UOC at the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli IRCCS. He also serves as President of the Clinical, Educational and Scientific Advisory Committee at the hospital.
